preaddressed mailing labels--Tacky??

Count me in as another proud member of the preprinted label brigade!
I used to do my postcards the old-fashioned way, hand-writing every part. Then I realized I could use my computer to print out labels. MUCH easier. Definitely not tacky, either.
And don't forget the stamps!

oooh, this is a great idea. I always felt I was wasting precious vacation time writing out addresses. I will do this from now on! :>

You can download disney fonts at The Disney Experience

It also guarantees that the name and address will fit in the proper space, leaving more room for your message.

I hope not, because I've done it. Makes postcard writing much simpler. People should be glad you thought of them and sent a card, not grousing about an address label! :sunny:

Heck no it isn't tacky...especially if you are sending a postcard to the UK...gosh those addresses! I will say however...that to use pre-printed labels to address wedding invitations...now that might be tacky!

When we went on the Magic last December, I pre-printed labels with the Disney font and mailed out our Chirstmas cards that I had done on the ship. Then, I used the labels for post cards when we got to WDW. If I did not have the labels, I would never have been able to mail out the cards in time.

Alot of people noticed and inquired about the Disney font.

I am doing that too. I made the labels on my computer and they have Mickey Mouse on them. I can not wait to use them

Almost time!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:    :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :mickeybar :jumping1: :jumping1: :disrocks: :thewave: :thewave: :jumping2: :jumping3:

Just joining the list of NO it is not tacky. DW does this, it saves time.

Okay, I tried to make mailing labels just now and all the labels on the sheet were "print previewing" as the same one. UGH! Do they have a "labels for dummies" tutorial?? :confused3

Under the Labels tool where you selected what type of labels you are going to use, there is a section saying "Address". DO NOT put an address in here. Underneath "Address" there's another section that says "Print". In there it lets you select select "Full Page of the Same label " or "Single label". Select "Full Page of the Same Label". Then click on the button "New Document". This will pull up a word document of empty labels, here you can begin to type in each address you want.

I hope that is what you were looking for!
