So, I sent my daughter to camp, finished Harry Potter, and am avoiding cleaning the house.:surfweb:
I wanted to make a list of the top 10 reasons WDW is better than Sea World after our trip last weekend, but instead I deciding to make a pre trip report.

Who: I am not sure yet who is going, I know my daughter who will be celebrating her 12th birthday while there (now known as Princess Pooh) and me :hippie: (I haven't picked a Disney name yet--maybe Grumpy). We have invited a friend and her mom, my sister and her kids, but nobody wants to plan that far ahead yet!

Why(background): I went to WDW in 6th grade, the I took dd when she was 6 and fell in love with the magic!! Then we went for her dance nationals at 8, 9, and 10. This summer she decided to go to ballet camp($$), which meant no Disney. We went through withdrawal, then saw the Food Network show on WDW and decided we have to go at Christmas time to see the gingerbread houses.

When: :santa: December 18-24. I think. I have to make sure I can leave work early on the 18th first, or maybe I will have a stomach ache. I think we are leaving the 24th, but I can't decide for sure. Does Santa come if you sleep at Disney World or does he come once you get home (or maybe it's time)? I would love to be there on Christmas day. My mom will kill me though if we don't show up at her house on Christmas Day.

Place: Pop, of course. I tried looking at other places, but was reminded by Princess Pooh that it is her birthday.

Plans:
Day 1-Dinner with Cinderella and Prince Charming, a first for us.
Day 2-Magic Kingdom. My dd is convinced that she is a princess, so we have to start here. We'll have breakfast with Cinderella.
then we are being brave and having dinner at Boma, another first. (thanks to all the reviews and pictures here).
Day 3-Magic Kingdom, again for MVMCP, dinner at LTT
Day 4-EPCOT cause it's open late!! We'll definitely eat at the French bakery and Morrocan cafe. I'm thinking trying something new also, the Sunshine place.
Day 5-We'll visit MGM, just to say we went! DD is afraid of rides. Rode TOT once and cried for hours. We try to avoid MGM after that. So we'll see some shows, then head to Whispering Canyon and be breave trying something new again. She says she will ask for ketchup, but she can be sooo shy!
Day 6-Back to MK, because we LOVE it and it's open until 2 AM!!! Crystal Palace dinner-we've only had breakfast here in the past.
Day 7-:coffee: Breakfast and Chef Mickey's then off to Dowtown to buy Christmas presents and eat at Ghiradellis with the coupon I got from signing up on the website (again thanks to posters here!).

So, I hope I made a good plan.
PrincessPooh, do you like it?
