Pre-Trip report -Dreams maiden voyage

So glad you're feeling better!! Did you watch the christening on Facebook?

I wasn't able to watch it "Live" but I am hoping to find it to watch very shortly. I have not been in from work too long. Not sure who Jennifer Hudson is, but I am sure she will make an apt Godmother - otherwise they wouldn't have picked her - right?

Throat was sore again this morning but during the course of the day it has improved again, fingers crossed thats how it stays


Ok just watched the VT of the Christening and I am officially blubbing LOL and I now know who Jennifer Hudson is and considering her history she is a fab choice of Godmother!

Day 3 done and dusted at work - not too busy a day, a painting of "The Gruffalo" for a wall display and lots of reading assessments completed for my young chargees!

So the packing STILL isn't done. I know I know I said I was doing it yesterday, but I kinda got caught up on the forums and before I knew it it was late again. BUT I am going to start tonight - I promise I must, as tomorrow evening after work is a Run-the -children-to- clubs- night! and then that only leaves me Friday after work to finish, and tidy the house. We have an early start on saturday with a 2hour drive to the airport to catch our 11am, 9hr flight to sunny(I hope) Florida

Counting down the days ....soon to be the hours!

Finally the time has come to end this mini pre-trip report in preperation for THE TR of my adventures on the MV

The packing is done, the house is tidy and as I write this at 11.20pm GMT I am too excited to sleep!

We leave here at 6am saturday morning to head for the airport where we will have a MaccyD's breakfast before we get on the plane. Once we have arrived in Florida we will head to the hotel and wlamrts for essentils and then its fun fun fun all the way to the cruise on wednesday.

So seeing as I cannot sleep I am watching Avatar and then maybe I will be able to rest after that!

Look forward to seeing you on the otherside when I get to write my TR - can't wait!!

Yes I am home after a fantabulous trip

I would have been online long before now but found the internet connection was down when we arrived home on Monday morning and it was finally restored today - didn't they know I had an important TR to write?

We arrived back home on Monday morning after an eventful 7hr flight(more about that in the TR) and after a few hours at home we headed out again to pick up DH's new vehicle for work, so very tired we had to drive 2hrs up the road, and then 2hrs back - meaning I had to drive which is dodgy at the best of times but when tired - no joke) and with a 5hr time difference not in our favour the jet lag has been a real killer this time, and we were both back to work and kids in school on tuesday morning. I have no idea of what the day is right now and just looking forward to the weekend for a sleep in - just when is that again?

So look out for the TR which I will try and start over the weekend, once I have finally put the laundry and unpacking to bed- yes there are still cases filled with clothes(clean I hasten to add) - I am as slow with the unpacking as I was on the packing!

Now I must sleep
