Pre-trip emotions - hitting the wall

I think you could probably stick that phase in between all the other phases. So it would go something like this...

First phase, I'm giddy with excitement at booking my trip. That lasts a while.

Next phase - Get me there already!

Next phase - Planning mania.

Next phase - Get me there already!

Next phase - Starting to get bored with it all. Horrors!

Next phase - Get me there already!

Next phase - Back to excited.

Next phase - Get me there already!

Next phase - Getting close, but getting bored again.

Next phase - Get me there already!

Last phase - Days before leaving - out of control excitement.

On the way to WDW - GET ME THERE ALREADY!!!

At least that's how I feel! :teeth:

Yea that's it!!! Only on the Dis to other people understand so much. It is like a sickness ain't it? haha. :rotfl:

our suitcases hate this time as it comes closer to when we leave. Pack, unpack, pack, unpack, what to take, what not to take, just make up my mind before I wear the zipper out, how heavy is it, unpack it .......... :confused3

I went through each of those stages!! Now we're home and I want to go back! :p
What's that stage called? :rotfl:
We all had so much fun, the kids are missing it just as much. Oh well, plan for next year!

:laundy: :beach: :drive: 1. the omg can't believe we're going again phase
2. if we don't plan soon we'll never get everything phase
3. the planning phase
4. the what if the plane crashes phase
5.what if this happens phase
6. omg nearly there phase
7. bouncing around can't think straight phase
8. the were there phase
9. the i want to go back phase

:happytv: :artist: popcorn:: :dance3: luvin the new smilies

I agree with everyone on this, but with me, I also go through the re-planning just to keep planning stage....

1. So excited to have another trip coming up! :cheer2: :cheer2:
2. Planning, planning, planning....live in the disboards, and TGM
3. I make all my ADR's
4. Disney changes its schedule (always), so I have to re-plan and change most of my previous ADRs...
5. Everything mostly all planned, and I don't get bored, but I wish there was more to plan.
6. When everything has been done, and time has gone on, I start getting a little bit bored, so I start going over everything again, start second guessing myself, and rearrange all my ADRs all over again. But at least its more to plan, yay!

When all is said and done, I end up changing my ADRs about 3 or 4 times...good think I always go in value season! I guess I am the kind that is always on the look out for something better! :teeth: And through it ALL I am always in the "so excited I can't even think straight phase!!!!" :goodvibes

that ws us last year but you do realize that once you go your never the same its like a drug......as soon as you get back youll be trying to figure out how to go again......and trying too hard to recapture the magic of your first trip like i am now...ha ha

We go on our first trip in 14 days! You have me worried that I'm going to have to go to Disney anonymous when we get home! Sounds kinda like crack! :lmao:

as you can see i still have months of waiting, i just now am getting a bit "bored" if you can call it that. My friends are REALLY REALLY bored tho, hearing all about our trip..non stop...i swear its a disease.

I've read the whole food thread, so now that thats done i'm feeling a bit "bored"...its like food is my main priority over anything else! When in the world did the food become the number 1 attraction!? :teeth:

My what-ifs are Hurricanes (early October..scary), Rain (a lot of it), or illness. Ours is a two part trip, 1 week at disney 1 week on the gulf coast...so another big fear is RED TIDE....

I hate the bored part of this, but at 1 month i would be about to wet my pants with anticipation and shopping im sure. So I doubt this bored part will last long!

Your phases summoned it up for me. I'm in the

Getting excited, but bored again phase

I wish it would hurry up and get here already!
