We just go back from the World recently. Here is the link. Now I am thinking ahead.

We have a plan to go to the World in two years for our anniversary. 20 years with the same guy:lovestruc ...I know...amazing. Well actually it probably isn't all that amazing.

Anyway, that is why we are going, except I don't think we are going in November (that's our anniversary month). I was thinking about September, because that is also DH birthday month. I was going to surprise him with some birthday magic:wizard: because he had so many surprises for me when we went this last time.

So, September it is...at least for now. ;)

So here are my links for my pre-pre-trip planning because it is just too far away for a PTR. I'll save that for 1 year out. Will add more links as I go.

My fist dilemma :confused3

One option gone...really two gone

My DH thinks I'm crazy

My main dilemma is where to stay. We all want Wilderness Lodge, but an entire week there is a little more than I can swing.:scared1:

Our second option is 4 nights Pop and 3 nights Wilderness. That, we could do, but unless someone knows something I don't, I can't get dining for the entire length of my stay when I stay in two different hotels. Well...I could get dining the entire time, but the only way I see to do it is to buy tickets for each hotel separately. 4 days on one hotel and 4 days on the other. But that makes the price of the tickets go up and then the price of the two different hotels is almost as much as just staying at the Lodge. :headache:

I thought about checking into the Pop with a 4 night dining plan and buying 8 days worth of tickets, then just not having the dining plan when we check in at the lodge (but we would have our tickets). That does save a lot of ticket money, but then I wouldn't have dining for our most anticipated part of the trip.

Does anyone know if Disney will work with you on this, and transfer your dining options to the second hotel?

Of course to add to the planning confusion is one more option. My grandfather lives near Disney, and would love for us to stay with him. I could stay with him 3 nights and Wilderness for 4. That would give us an extra night in Wilderness , which my husband might like. But he really likes staying at Disney, so I don't know if he would go for it.

Any opinions, options, advice???????????

Ok. So staying at my grandfather's for part of the trip is out. DH said no to that one. :sad2:

I guess I can understand that since it will be our 20 year anniversary.

So since it is apparent that I am not going to win the lottery:sad1: ...I am looking at 4 nights Pop and 3 nights Wilderness Lodge.

Still need to know if anyone out there can give me any advice on the dining plan. Would love it if Disney would transfer to the second hotel, but I guess I won't hold my breath on that one.

We went up to see his mother this past weekend and I kept talking about our trip.

'It's two years' he kept saying.

He thinks I'm nuts for talking about it so early.

Maybe I am...who knows. :confused3

I think part of the reason is that we just came back from there, part is because I found this site and can live through other people:woohoo: , and part is because two of my co-workers are going next year and I am helping them plan (neither of them have been before).

The sad part is that we are going out west next fall, and I can't seem to bring myself to even give that a thought.

I've been out west several times before, and I truly love it. I could move out there in a heartbeat. It is beautiful. But we are going just to the Grand Canyon this time, and I've already seen it three times. I've even ridden the mule down in it (by the way...I will NEVER do that again:scared1: ). This trip is mainly so that my DH and my dad can hike it (insane...I know).

That means that I will be at the top of the canyon with my DD:angel: and my mom:scared1: . My mom and I get along great in short doses...we will be together for about 60 hours:rolleyes1 . Need I say more.

Anyway, I can't seem to get my head around that trip, but I find myself daydreaming about the one 2 years from now.
