For the first time, we going to skip a rental car and use a town car service. We're trying Cartier and used their pre-pay option. Has anyone done this before? It also includes a 20% tip for the driver for a total of $90.

On business trips, I always pay as I go and tip the driver directly. When you pre-pay like this, do the drivers still expect something else even though you pre-paid the tips?

We are using them Dec 7-14th for our transportation to and from the airport and I just checked their web site I see the pre pay however I don't see where that includes a 20% tip. Our reservation was $90 and that didn't include the tip that sound more accurate. Please let me know. If I can do it for 90 including the tip you know I will to save the money. I'd suggest to show the driver you pre paid and it includes tip print that sheet off and show him that it already included his tip. Please if you have any information forward it to me. Thanks

It was $75 RT, plus 20% for the driver(s). So, your $90 must be for the whole thing? I just sent it in and haven't got back a response yet.

Our office and assigned driver will be monitoring your flight with
the help of a real time aviation software and the driver will meet you in Southwest Airline baggage claim area with a name sign. Please call us Toll Free 866-407-1515 if you have any problem finding the driver on your arrival. A roundtrip rate for this service from Orlando Airport to Polynesian in a Van is $90.00. This rate includes complimentary meet and greet service in baggage
claim, Complimentary grocery stop, Complimentary Carseat, All parking and toll charges but does not include gratuity for the driver. There are no Taxes, Additional charges, Flight Delayed charges, Late or Early Arrivals/Departures.

This is direct off our confirmation and it states $90.00 but does not includ gratuity for the driver? I'm confused, when I went to the pay off ahead of time area I didn't see anything about the tip? Where did you read that I'm missing something.
Diane (Sorry for being a pain I'm just trying to save $20 in tip if I can) :earseek:

We just got back, and used Cartier. It was $75 for a towncar, but your confirmation mentions a van. I can see how a van might be at $90.

This doesn't include include the gratuity if you booked a van, like it says.

I was very impressed with the company, and highly recommend them!
