We have an 8 am ADR at Garden Grill when the park opens at 9 am. Is it possible to get into line for Soarin if we are finished before the official opening of the park? I would really like to be able to ride it without a fastpass since the tiered system in Epcot is pretty horrible. Will this be a benefit to us? ( I do not expect pre park opening rides ala 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, I just want to get in line early). I'm thinking (hoping) this may work since they are in the same building?

I would think the answer would be YES! You'd be right there with all the other 8-8:30am diners. Just be aware people may enter earlier than 9am...........it's possible :)

We rode it twice in November with an 8:00 am reservation. We were finished around 8:45, walked down to Soarin and they were just opening the ride.

We have an 8AM GG ADR too - hoping we can get in line before the craziness for Soarin'!

Definitely possible..but as others have said, don't be disappointed if the park opens early. It's possible they open the gates 30 minutes or so early

OP - I was just going to ask this same question. :)

We have an 8:05am ADR at GG on August 15 and I'd like to try to ride Soarin' SB and get FP+ for TT. It does make me nervous to do it that way! We've done PPO ADRs at MK and had success getting on rides early (Dumbo back in the "Dumbo Dash" days and SDMT in recent years) but have never done a PPO ADR at Epcot.

Last August on our Epcot days they let everyone in the park at approx. 8:45am but then held us at the breezeways until 9:00am. Then CMs walked the masses back to Soarin' or Test Track.

Just posted a question about this as I just got a 810 for GG. I was curious if this was enough time to eat and get in line and what their procedure is. We did this last year for BOG and they had areas roped off and let us go when they opened the rest of the park.
I won't be riding Soarin so I can wait for the check as the others head out.
