How feasible is expecting a short wait for A&E on a Sunday (5/3) without a FP+ with an 8:20am ADR at CRT? How long should breakfast take? It's our first day in the park and while I hope to get FP+ for that day, I'm not counting on being able to get it until later in our trip. If I could see them right after breakfast on the first day I could cancel the FP+ I hope to get later in the week.

For your best bet, forget that your ADR is at 8:20. Get there by 7:40 and you will be let in with everyone with an ADR at 8. Our experience is that they seat the most of the early ADRs in the order in which they arrive. They don't make the 8:20s step aside while they wait for the 8:10s to arrive. They are interested in efficiency at that hour, and you are not waiting for a table to empty up for you to occupy.

Since it is a fixed price, ask for your check and pay soon after ordering. Take your time eating and meeting the princesses, but that way you won't be left waiting to pay when the park opens.

If there is a 9am park opening then You would have to get out of CRT in 35mins to beat everyone else in the rush. You are better to enjoy your experience than rushing. I doubt you will make it out in time. If there is EMH then there would be no point.

Getting there ASAP was definitely in my plan. Park opens at 9 that day. I was also planning on asking for the check right away, too.

So, just under an hour to eat and see the princesses at CRT should be good?

Don't forget that if crowds are heavy Disney may change to an earlier opening hour for MK.

I think you'll be done before 9 and won't feel like you are rushing. The princesses come around fairly quickly. And it only take so long to eat breakfast. They are very efficient at that hour. Be it good or bad, they are very efficient. Remember, they are trying to turn those tables and get the next group in.

I could be wrong, but I think the first week of May is not likely to have that happen. OP should keep an eye on the schedule just to be on the safe side, but I think the risk is pretty low.

The crowd is predicted at 5 or 6 that day, depending on which crowd calendar you look at. Fingers crossed the opening stays at 9.

Thank you!

CRT has always taken us about 45 minutes. I agree with a PP to get there by 740ish and get in with the 8 am seating. When you leave CRT wait by the rope and you'll be the first ones in. I think you'll get to A&E fairly quickly and not have much of a wait.

You now have me wanting to do this on our trip. We want to do an 8 am BBB appointment. After that we can get to A&E pretty quickly.

We've done 8 am ADR's before and have been the first ones into Fantasyland to ride rides pre A&E days.

Nice thing with crt is its prepaid unless your trying to get money back because your on the dp

We always have had the early seating even with parties of 10 to 12 have gotten out by rope drop
