We have used PreFlight Parking in Providence for as long as I can remember. We used them last June (2016).

I recall getting an email that they were changing names. (Found it was now called Laz) But now I can't find a website. The airport website says they are closed.

So, if there is no longer PreFlight, what do you suggest?

I think it's Park n fly now. We are going in April and it looks like Garage C will actually be cheaper.

The parking area that Preflight and then Laz-Fly used is now closed. It's just an empty lot. You have to use airport parking.

I use Garage C...love it, but will now have to see what coupon is out there for the other two since I fly next week!!!

Garage B is $14/day. Lot E is $10/day, $50/wk. Both are coupon discounts.

The offsite lots like preflight and airport valet were squeezed out.

I've used both the C garage and lot E and both are fine.
Last trip I drove my truck and it's difficult to maneuver in some parking structures so I decided to use the surface lot. The shuttle picks you up and drops you off right at your car, no schlepping to a pickup stop. I don't know if my experience is typical but I had no wait at all. the shuttle driver saw me parking and drove straight over to pick me up.
Overall I think I now prefer the parking lot over the garage and it's only $10 per day / $50 per week with coupon.

Coupon all printed out and signed up for their frequent parker program!!! Wish I could use it next week, but I won't get the key card in time. So, will use the coupon!! A few less steps than garage C!!!

The catch with the B coupon is that there's no weekly max. So longer trips make C more cost effective. The frequent Parker program is great!

We park at Thrifty. I have no idea what it costs. My husband uses them for business trips for which his company pays, and they'd only approved a cost effective option. So I guess it must be competitive. But even if it's slightly more, we appreciate their service. The shuttles are timely and usually really quick. We text for a pick up when we are grabbing luggage, or deplaning if no checked bags, and the shuttle has been there within 5-6 minutes almost every single time. Most importantly the car is running (with heat or AC on) when you get to it. After returning near midnight to a dead battery in a car parked in Garage B, we said never again.

Yup....it's about $30 cheaper to park in C vs B next week. I'll make the call when I get there. If it's cold, I may just pay the extra $30..less time walking outside. I'm such a baby!!!!

I see the coupons say they expire at the end of the month. Does anyone know if that's for when you arrive in the garage or when you depart the garage? For example I will need to park there from April 27 to May 1st. If they have a coupon that expires April 30th will I be able to use it May 1st as I arrived before it expired? If not when do the following months coupons come out?

The coupon expires on March 31, so I'm going to assume that if you return the day after it expires, it's no longer good.

That's what I figure too, thanks. Hopefully they put out the following month's coupon early enough to print it before we go.

The coupons weren't necessarily monthly. Btw, the new coupons are up on the website and this batch is good through 12/31/17.

Coupon prices went up --
Garage B coupon rate is $16/day
Economy Lot E coupon rate is $12/day, $60/week

Just did all this last week. Parked in lot E and the shuttle drove right up to our car to pick us up. Biggest tip, the driver will ask "do you want a location ticket?" Say YES, and save it in your wallet!! The lot is gigantic and you'd never remember after your vacation where your car is.

So I just filled all my information in to get the $12/day $60/week coupon for Lot E. When it popped up it was for only $10/day $50/week. I also filled in my info for Lot B at $16/day and it came up as only $14/day. SCORE!!! Every little bit helps.

I wonder if it's because I put in it would be my first time parking there, which it is? Or were those the old rates and they never adjusted them correctly?

I signed up for their frequent parking program....got the key card, so I can just tap into the garage, and then out of the garage. The fee gets automatically taken out of my credit card account. And, no more coupons....I automatically get the cheapest rate! Too bad I didn't get it before I left for Fl..but it was waiting for me when I got home!!!

If for any reason you ever need parking at PVD for < 24 hrs, your parking badge can also be used at the mbta station across the skybridge. That is only $5 if you are there less than 24 hrs. You don't earn frequent Parker points, but It's convenient.
