Pre Cut Page Kits

I have been purchasing a lot of pre cut page kits lately. Sometimes I think this is cheating but I rationalize it by saying that it is really no different than using a page sketch someone else has made it's just that the papers are already picked out for you. It still takes a lot of time to put the pages together and I do make changes to fit my pics or personal style.

Yet I still feel guilty! What are your views on pre cut page kits?

I see no problem with using these- it wouldn't be any different from us choosing to use pages from a swap (except we pay for them with both time and money). If you have pages that you love that someone else did the work on that is fine- now if you look at these pages and you don't like them it would be a different story.

Scrapping is about the creative process and about telling the story- you are working on telling the story.

LOVE THEM! Bought a bunch of original kits at CKC last year and at Violettes in Lakeland, FL because it's the best way to acquire the "ideas" that are original to the kit's creator. Also the ones with the laser cut titles that I don't have the capability of doing. Can't WAIT for CKC!

I use a lot of paper kits as well. My LSS has a gal who is a Disney fanatic and she makes the most wonderful pages! I have taken several classes and purchased bunches of the pages, and I don't feel guilty at all! I usually purchase matching papers and embellies and then do a set of pages or duplicate the pages for another album. I don't think it's cheating at all, it is using the time you have to scrap wisely....the main point of all of this is preserving your memories, and this is a great way to do it and still feel creative!

I am in a year long scrap club with my CTMH consultant. We are making 10 pages every month, so 120 pages for the year. She has them all cut out & designed. We just slap them down - it's super easy. I've only been to one class so far but I LOVE it!!

We pay $42.00 a month, get 10 pages done, a stamp set, embelles, stickers, paper. We don't use all the paper in the pack so we still have 5-6 pages left to make on our own with leftovers.

I know by the end of the year, I will have 120 pages complete, just add pictures or I could add them that night if I wanted.
