Pre-cruise hotel recommendation in Cocoa Beach

Looking at cruise dates in Jan/Feb 2023 and hoping to stay close to the port before the cruise. Does anyone have a recommendation for a place to stay in Cocoa Beach? Do any hotels have a shuttle to the port, or do we need to take a cab? Not planning to rent a car if we can avoid it. Also, any recommendations for a car service from Orlando airport? Thanks!

I think most of the major hotels will have a shuttle to the port. It’s worth confirming though. There will probably be a few for the shuttle, as well, so it might be worth factoring that in.
We just stayed at the Hilton Oceanfront. I was afraid it would be far at 8 miles or so from the port, but with the shuttle it didn’t really matter. And it was super nice being right on the beach.

Thanks for the info. I looked at their website, and it didn't mention a shuttle, so it's nice to know they have one. I don't mind paying for a ride, just want to know that it's available. We usually stay at a Hilton brand hotel because of the Honors points.

Home2Suites/Hampton combo, Port Canaveral. Don't think they have a shuttle but Uber would be cheap they are so close.

We like Homewood Suites at Cocoa Beach, which is a Hilton option. Newer. Bigger two room suite with a couch is available for a fair price. Included breakfast is pretty good and usually has a bunch of other cruisers on cruise morning, so there is a happy buzz in the air. They have a shuttle option, but we haven't used it, so I can't speak to that.

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn two times, most recently a week ago, breakfast is included
they do offer a shuttle $10 a person, we took an Uber

We have stayed at the Homewood Suites, Marriott Residence Inn, Country Inn & Suites, 4 Points Sheraton. We liked the Marriott the best but we had a car so never used a shuttle.

We were at the Residence 2 weeks ago. There was a sign for a shuttle (paid, I think). We had a car, so didn't use it. Hotel was fine.
