I have two days (Dec. 20 & 21) & am staying onsite; we have been to the parks, but my family has not been to WWoHP. ( I went 2 months ago during a conference, hee hee!). So, the objective it to get them there...I've never been this time of year, I expect crowds for sure, but am procuring any advice out there from veterans who have been the week prior to Christmas! I can't wait to see the Grinch!

Before Christmas crowds are manageable but since you're staying onsite and except for WWoHP, you will have no problems touring. WWoHP will be pretty busy so make sure you keep that in mind. You could either go early in the day or wait until evening since IoA is open until 10pm and the Studios is open until 8pm on those days. Again...you should have plenty of time to do everything with very little trouble.
