Didn't see this thread until now. I am so sorry. How devestating for her family & friends. Prayers for Morgan, her family & friends & for you, Kwitch. Sometimes life is so hard.
The school has set up grief counseling for staff and students and has asked everyone to be extra mindful of others this week (hopefully it goes further).
Other schools in the area have also reached out to help. I am so proud of our community.
Prayers being said for Morgan and her family and friends. It took me a while to respond to this post because it's very similar to what we've been through at my house these past few months. My oldest daughter is Morgan and she's 17 and her doctors found a tumor on her right ovary right after Thanksgiving. She had surgery to have it removed. It was 9 inches in diameter and about 10pounds and she lost her right ovary with it. She essentially had to have a c-section to get that thing out. I am in tears reading this and thinking of that poor girl and her family and realizing how fortunate we are that my Morgan is healthy today.

Thanks, everybody, for the well wishes for my Morgan. I didn't mean to hijack the thread but it hit very close to home for us. As I said, many prayers and well wishes for Morgan's family and friends and your whole community
