Thank you for all your prayers. Luke's condition has not improved and yesterday, my DB and DSIL and Luke's doctors discussed making him DNR (Do Not Resuscitate). It will be a difficult decision for them to make. Please continue to pray for them and Luke. They need to feel God's Love so much right now.

Yesterday was a very difficult day but it looks like Luke is doing a little bit better. DB and DSIL had signed the DNR papers on Christmas. Yesterday, Luke stopped breathing and Karan became hysterical and could not go through with it. They rescinded the DNR orders and Luke was put on oxygen.

He was on an oxygen mask for most of the day. Last night, his temperature came down to around 100 and he was strong enough to sit up. The rest of the night has been uneventful.

Your prayers are certainly helping and my family is grateful for all your good thoughts. Please continue to add your prayers for them when you can.

I can't imagine how gutwrenching this has to be for Luke's parents and family. I would have reacted the same way in that situation. There's nothing harder in the world than knowing you're going to lose your child.

How are you doing? It can't be easy for you either.

I got a call last night that Luke is sitting up, talking and, best of all, SMILING! There is no doubt in our minds that the prayers of so many worked to bring a healing to our little guy. Thank you to everyone who cared to included our family in their petitions to God.

Luke will probably be hospitalized until his temperature returns to normal. When he is discharged, there is a pile a presents and a shiny tree waiting for him. Until then, we all pray for his continued improvement.
