prayers needed

Hello,
I have been on the boards for a while. Today I had to ask, please pray for our DD!

A little background. She is 18 and has Spina-bifida and hydrocephalus. A few other medical problems. She is a happy girl and loves Disney! She is delayed but is the kindest soul.

On a routine check up last Wed., the doctor noticed some problems with her hands. He gave us news, we are finding very difficult to deal with. The doctors are worried her brain is having a problem. I don't want to get too medical but the outcome is death. I have tears streaming down my face as I type. :sad1:

Today she is going for a MRI, it will take 2 hours to examine her brain and neck. I am and have been sick with worry. My life has been turned upside down. My DH and I have cried many tears. My older DD is almost 23 and understands fully, so she is a wreck. DS is 12 and I have tried to protect him and said his sister is going for a test today. :guilty:

After the MRI the drs. will meet with us and give results. I am hoping everyone will pray. I believe in the power of prayer. I am totally lost. Well, I will close for now. We are going to the children's hospital, it is a 2 1/2 hour drive. I apologize for misspellings I can barely think. Thanks for the prayers in advance! :hug:

I'm sorry to hear your family is going through this. I can't imagine that there is anything worse to hear about your child's health. Hopefully the doctor is wrong and there is a much more benign cause of your DD's problems.

I will be keeping your family in my prayers. What a scary thing to go through as a parent...remember that God is in control even when we feel like things are so out of control and He'll get you through this.
