Hello,
Thanks for all the replies. I remain very hopeful. Here is the update.
As, I said she went to the hospital for a MRI. She became very upset and nervous so they had to stop the MRI. She was in for 15 mins. The neuro. doc. reported her brain looked good. DD shunt is working properly, meaning her hydrocephlaus is under control. This was positive. Her brain looks the same as it did in 2007 (the last time she was sick). Her brain malformation remained the same, this is positive too. I started to feel the weight lifting off me. The drs. do want another MRI on her neck and spine. She will need to go to sleep so they can have a good look. This will happen in the next few weeks as they have to make a plan. I am feeling much stronger today. My family has calmed down. The possible outcome is she has a build up of spinal fluid on her spine. We remain hopeful. The drs. said
she is not out of the woods but on a different path. To me this sounds positive. Dependin on where and how much fluid is in her spine will determine the surgery she needs. The drs. said she is a sick girl but life is going forward.
Thanks again, I will update. I appreciate all the kind words. Our life is somewhat normal feeling today. My family remains positive!
