This afternoon, Officer Garcia of Cape Coral Police Department, was critically injured on his motorcycle, when another vehicle pulled out in front of him. Damien is only 26, and a single parent. I live in the Tampa Bay Area and we also had a horrable thing happen at work this week. I work for a Landscape and Landcare Co. and one of our crew members were killed on the job, it has been very hard dealing with all of it. She was 36 yrs old with 6 children. She was hit by a truck that dragged her 254 ft, the mower she was on blew up and in turn blew up the cab of the truck. I had to deal with all the insurance co's. Osha, and lawyers and her family. It has been heart renching. Her family needs everyones prayers as well.

I am so burt out, Gatordad, if you saw the pictures, it was a horrable thing to happen. I have been dealing with insurance companies, osha, the family and all of it, I have to repeat the details about 20 times a day. I am so wiped when I get home at night. Even when the insurance people call they start crying, which in turn makes me cry. The woman has 6 children.
No matter how bad you think things are in your life, when things happen like this you just have to be thankful for what you do have.

Thank you all for the prayers. Ofc. Garcia is still critical, but is holding his own. The first 72hrs is always the most crucial with brain injuries and he is a fighter!!! Lornaduck, I have also added you to the prayer list at church. Again, thank you all for the prayers and kind words!!
