Prayers needed for friend's grandfather.

My daughter's best friend slept over last tonight, and this afternoon her mother called in a real panic. It seems her grandfather was hanging up XMas lights outside and fell off the ladder, in doing so he hit his head on the deck and there was blood everywhere. They have gone to the hospital by ambulance. This was about 3 hours ago, and I have not heard anything yet. I told her not to worry on this end, she had enough going on. I told the child nothing yet, as requested by her mother..

I just wanted some good thoughts and prayers for this man, if so inclined. Thank you

Well, FWIW, head wounds tend to bleed a lot, so they often look worse than they really are at first glance.

That being said, getting him to the hospital to be checked out is good advice.

Ok she just called.

He broke his wrist, he has to go back tomorrow to have it re-casted, and he may have to have it reset. He has 8 stitches in his head, but no concussion.
Thank God, because it could have been so much worse.
