Prayers for my niece

I just got off the phone with my MIL and she said my niece had an emergency apendectomy this week.

How did she find out? My niece, Esther, who is 13 emailed her grandma when she got home and told her about it. She wanted her grandma there so bad and she was in so much pain - it took quite a while to find out what was wrong with her. My SIL isn't speaking to MIL so that is how she finds out. It is so sad and makes me so mad.

Esther is doing alright now but they did find a growth on her ovary as well. She has to go back in a few weeks for some more tests. I just pray every thing will be okay and also that SIL will put her feelings aside and not keep her kids from their grandma.

Your niece will be in my thoughts. It is a shame she wants GrandMa and can't have her there.

Poor Esther. Is she ok after her surgery? What are they going to do about the growth?

Is MIL and SIL MIL and DIL or DM and DD?

Browneyes - they are DD and DM. The have an on again off again relationship. Meaning if MIL is doing everything SIL wants she will speak to her. I am so tired of it. Especially since I don't have my DM any more. I told her so and so guess what - she doesn't call me anymore either (unless she needs something)

Esther is doing okay since the surgery and luckily was on Spring Break. Her tummy is very sore though and she said it hurts to laugh.

Poor thing didn't even get to enjoy Spring Break! It's sad that your niece is in the middle of their battle.

I'll pray for a quick recovery for Esther.

Awww poor kid! I'm glad she's doing much better and is on the road to recovery. I'll pray for great results for her future tests. I'm also glad that your niece hasn't let the relationship her mother and grandmother have, get in the way of her having a relationship with her grandmother. Sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders for a young lady.

Hope things go well for your niece, cinlee, in all ways. My prayers are with her. Family stuff can be so mixed up at times, and tough for young kids too. She sounds like a nice kid.
