My DD is 16 and on the honor roll (not a brag, just letting OP know that she turned out great physically and mentally) She's going thru a moody phase, but you would never know anything was wrong. She's smart, funny and absolutely normal.

My nephew's baby was 26 weeks and 1 lb 12 oz - born this past January - he came home in April, has an issue with his eyes - being monitored by the pediatric specialist - and is 9 lbs 10 oz as of today!

My baby was born at 35 weeks. I know that's not as bad as others have posted, but I was scared we would lose her. I had a fever during delivery and they didn't tell me that they were concerned about that. So when she was born, they didn't even let me see her. I got to hold her one time before they sent her to the NICU at Brenners Childrens Hospital.

Sorry to blabber.

I will pray for the baby to make a quick and health recovery.

Ask the drs about kangaroo care, if no one has mentioned it.

We encourage kangaroo care, after the baby is stable. We have come a long, long way. Prayers for the baby and the family.
