Prayers and Pixie Dust please!

This isn't huge or anything, but I'd really like today to go smoothly. We are having Christmas today with my FIL, new MIL and my DH's olderDSis and family. My MIL passed away a year ago last Nov. My DSisIL passed away in April. Both after long battles with cancer.
My FIL met new wife in June married in August. We really want him to be happy. But I think it hit DH and his DSis harder than they are willing to admit.
And why are we having Christmas in January? First time that we 'fit' in the new schedule........
I could really use some prayers today!
