This poor baby boy! I have continued to pray for him and his family. It's hard to believe that this poor baby will suffer so much because of the carelessness of the BF. I DO hope it was carelessness and not maliciousness!!!

the baby's father is doing Ok considering the circumstances..this is probably the toughest thing this Marine has had to face...

I have posted pictures at this site BABY PICTURES for anyone who would like to see the little boy..they are pictures taken in the hospital..so they will tug at your heartstrings...

It's makes me crazyt hat the Mom and scumbag haven't been charged...thats blatantly abuse.... grrrr that makes me so mad.

I can only imagine how tough it is on the father,,knowing that this is one enemy he can't take care of..

I'm so glad the Marine corps, arrranged for him to be with his son...

I just hope that the same courts ,who initially decided the boy would be better of with his mother, will now see reality and give the father custody, so this poor child is safe from the boyfriend{lowlife scum}..

How can they not charge him? What kind of a story could he possibly come up with to try to cover his butt.
That is just disgusting that someone could treat a defensless child like that! As a child he probalbly tortured animals for amusement. What a pathetic waste of space he is, The mother is NO better, letting a monster like that around her child.

I agree 100%.. I think the father is showing a great deal of strength by being able refrein from using his military training on the boyfriend{lowlife scum}

Thats the same thing I was thinking, especially after seeing that poor boy in the hospital like that.

I hope the judge that thought this baby would be better off with a drug dealing mother and a scumbag BF sees these photos.

My heart breaks for the Father of this little one. Thanks god he's able to be with his son.

Is the mother by the baby's bedside so she wont be charged also?

I can't imagine someone putting one of my babies in water so hot it could give them burns that severe.

Put him in a very small room with about 55,000 Dis'ers and let us take care of him.

that's what we were thinking..the mother is putting on a show to avoid being charged..at the very least they should charge her with negligence..

Prayers for this little guy, he looks so sweet, I would like to get my hands on BF, Mother, and Judge and dunk them in something.

to heal quickly, with minimal scarring (emotional & physical), pain Rx to help take away the pain, for NO infections & for a wonderful hospital staff & social workers to bring the criminal to justice who did this to the dear little one!

Feb 26th 2000 will be a day ecthed in my memory as it was the day our dd1 was burned. She pulled my cup of hot water soon to be tea on herself & suffered 2nd & 3rd degree burns on 15 % of her body. The burns covered her face both sides, forehead, chin, scalp, chest & large portions of her left arm.

We were very blessed to have a good ER that took care of her.

I KNOW how tough little ones can be! Her Godmother is an RN and helped me debride the burns the 1st time. After that, dh & I took care of her 2x daily baths to clean, debrid & dress the burns. She couldn't be around other children for risk of infections for the 2 months that it took to heal.

She wears special sunscreen clothes that NASA came up with that gives her SPF 30 whether the clothing is wet or not whenever she is outside.

All in all we are thankful that her eyes weren't involved!

God is good & her healing is almost complete (she may need a skin graft in the near future to cover the large keloid on her arm).
