Prayers and PD Needed, Please/Update p.4...

Thank you all for your warm wishes, prayers and PD! princess: Browneyes, thanks for the chuckle! :rotfl: Feralpeg, your story was helpful to hear (I agree with you, sometimes I wish I did the same)...I really appreciate all the replies. :flower3:

The biopsy went well (once I got there - windshield wipers stuck and blew off at the end of my street). :headache: We talked about one of my favorite subjects during the procedure - Disney! - so it went by pretty quickly. I'm hopeful it turns out ok. I will update when I know more.

Sending prayers your way for good biopsy results

Good wishes, Linda, and prayers. Hoping the biopsy results are good. My wife, a breast cancer survivor of some years, just went through a round of concern for six or so months with 'things they were 'concerned' about'. Turned out negative. As said above, once you have been ill with it, you are always gun shy of anything said or seen.

Again, Linda, my best, with prayers.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers Linda!

Jay just happened to come across your post on the community board and I'm just speechless. My heart has just sank! I just can't even find the words to express how sorry I am!! I'm literally numb!! You are one of the sweetest, kindest, most loving person that I have ever had the pleasure to meet!! You are a devoted wife and mother and a selfless friend!! I am so glad I got to meet you this August and I will consider you my friend for life!!!! I know how much the waiting is unbearable, so I will pray for peace, tranquility, and strength of body and mind I hope with all that I am that turns out to be nothing worrisome, but if it is something you need to tackle, please know that we will be with you every step of the way. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers daily!! Please let us know how you are doing, and please post when the results come in!
Love to you, Paul and the kids!!!!!
Michelle

I've just woken up to this news and I am really still a bit too shocked to know what to say, but I had to let you know that I am not going to get you out of my thoughts until I hear more news.

Obviously we are all worried, but as we both know only too well, it's more difficult to look on the bright side when you have already been through a rotten storm, but this might very well be nothing at all.

Meanwhile take five, close your eyes and pretend you are still in that hammock on Castaway Cay........ I'm in the one right next to you...

Much love from Jane, Phil and family.

So lucky to have met you all.

x

Michelle and Jane,
Thank you for posting. It was just what I needed this morning -seeing your names brought me back to a time this summer which was so happy in ending treatment and planning for our trip. :sunny: :boat: As you know, dreams of that trip got me through a rough winter and memories of it has helped get me through this! I think Eileen said it best when she said meeting all of you made the difference between a great cruise and an awesome cruise!

Rest assured, no matter what results I get, my plan is to absolutely keep up the fight and continue to live and appreciate my life to the fullest. My work is by no means completed here, I have lots to do still - my kids, family, friends, dogs and patients need me (and I have lots more Disney trips to take princess: ) -so hopefully not, but if need be, I'm mentally prepared to do whatever I have to do and recognize that if so, it HAS to be part of God's bigger plan for me...

Michelle, I am overwhelmed by your kind and supportive words. You said before you got the sense there was more going on than a bunch of people meeting on a boat and I agree. You had your own crisis to deal with this year so I know hits close to home for you as well. (I'm thrilled things are going so well for Jay). Jane, I remember our talk up on Deck 10 - thank you for that (and the delicious candy;) ). I'm so touched that you guys care enough to "be with me" in spirit - I cried when I read both your notes but the hammock visual really broke me up. Thank you!! I've been kind of sad this week thinking we won't be on that April cruise with you guys, but it's a long way off and you never know...

Oh Linda--I am so sorry to hear your news. Of course you are in our thoughts and prayers! Please let us know how you are doing. with love, Maria

Got a wonderful call this afternoon from my Oncology NP who I'd asked to keep an eye on my test results: THE BIOPSY WAS NEGATIVE!!!! After I stopped sobbing into the phone I was flooded with a wave of emotions... Right now I do believe I'm the happiest person on the planet!!! (So happy we're considering an impromptu trip to WDW to celebrate and make up for the 3 days on land we missed due to Frances - what do you all think??)...I'm so grateful I can now truly enjoy my twins' 7th birthday in 3 weeks and stop lookiing at them through tears in my eyes...

All the prayers made the difference, I'm certain! I'm really humbled. Thank you all so much!!!

They still want to remove the lump and biopsy the whole thing so I'll have to have surgery, but now that I know it's nothing to worry about I feel as if the weight of the world is off my shoulders.

Let's now turn our thoughts to Peggie and hope that she has a speedy recovery and makes it through treatment ok. MonkeyBoy posted also about October being Breast Cancer Awareness month. Please, ladies (and gentlemen), keep up with your BSEs each month and encourage your loved ones to do the same.

Thank you, thank you, thank you... :grouphug: :flower3: :sunny:
