I don't know a whole lot more now..The surgery took 10 hours.They said that he was in such bad shape when they opened him up that he would have died in another 15 miutes . He's still at risk for infection, stroke and a bunch of other things the doctor listed. I couldn't see him last night as he was in recovery for a few hours after the surgery. I'm going out to see him this morning..I managed to get some sleep last night,maybe 5 hours or so. I just kept waiting for the phone to ring during the night..I'll update later this afternoon after I see him.
