The changes to the operating hours are frustrating, but it looks like you were able to make some awesome plans still!
I am jealous you will be seeing Karin and Tom! This isn't the first time though, right?
I recall there were some changes when you went.

You just have to roll with it and luckily, all of us know how to handle things. I'm also kind of glad that we're saving something for our last day. We've yet to figure out a good last day tradition and I know last year, the whole day felt like it dragged a bit.
And no...we were very fortunate to be able to spend a fair amount of time with Karin and Tom last February. They are the nicest people! We did evening EMHs, breakfast at Cape with Mickeynicki and her husband, plus we were staying at the same resort, so that made it easy.
Hi Tina!
And here we go again - I was kind of waiting for the change in park hours too!
..... and here it is!
B&C is okay with us - you might just have to be flexible with the time (and we will be in for a LOOOOOOOONG wait!) - what about a Kitchen Sink? I think Max would like all the attention ........ if not ......... they have lots of other yummies!
Love all your changes and it seemed pretty easy to get everything changed. Now if the time only flew by until then and then stopped and just crawled very very slowly while we are there.
Got your PM and I think its a great plan!

Mark is worried that Max will freak out if we walk past the Pirate Ship and he can't get on it, but we can avoid that, if we need to. I have a feeling once he sees you two and/or the arcade right next door, he'll be fine.

Plus, there's ICE CREAM!!!
Ann, Tina and I should be used to them changing hours by now ...... they ALWAYS do it!
And YES, we did meet last year, we all had breakfast with Nicki and her husband, then Tina spent EMH and quite some time in the pool with us - we had FUN!! Cannot wait to
her again!

Thanks, Karin! We can't wait, either. I told you Max expected you to be there last July, right?
An actual review of our Kona breakfast will be (eventually!) in my TR, but I will say that DBF went NUTS over the Samoan.
YAY! I really think that's the route I'll go. The tonga toast sounds good, but more it sounds like it would be good in theory, no so much in reality. Plus, they have Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's so if I really want to try it at some point, I can.
Yay for your Poly ME tags coming!!!!!

It really was a great way to start the weekend! I still wonder what went wrong with yours, though? Who knows? At least you got them just in time!
Arghhhhh I hate the hours change right before the trip! You definitely did an awesome job of changing up your plans though! That stinks that MK is opening at 8am every day of your trip! I mean, that's pretty awesome for the early hours, but stinks for a pre-park opening ADR at CP!!! Our best trick when it's crowded is to get to the parks when they open, we can usually get to everything we want before the crowds descend!
I'm OK with the earlier times and all, but that does sort of stink about CP. I don't know if we'll be on the dining plan for our subsequent trips (we'll see how we like the regular dining plan, it might be perfect) and if that's the case, I'll be a lot more reluctant to pay OOP for a character buffet.
I can't believe that more people haven't figure that one out yet? You can ALWAYS take a nap later on the day, when the parks get crazy.
All of your changes look great and you are ready to take on the crowds.

Citricos looks yummy, I am looking foward to hearing all about it.
The menu there right now looks so good! There are three different entrees I'd be very interested in, that's rare for me. I'm usually all about the first course, so that's saying something. Plus, I really, truly did not want to go out for a really nice dinner at 5:45. Just seems wrong, somehow.
I can't wait to hear all about your trip when you get back. Right now I am convinced that our next family trip will be Feb. 2013 or 2014 so that I can do the Princess Half Marathon. DH has agreed to go whatever year I finally train to do it but I'm not sure about bringing him back to Disney during such a busy week. I'm afraid it will just reaffirm his dislike for Disney. On the other hand, I could go for the weekend solo and we could do a family trip that fall during food and wine. However I think if I manage to complete a half marathon at Disney won't I want my family waiting at the finish line? Lucky I have a year or two to think it through.
Good luck training for the half! That's so impressive.

I'm just trying to figure out when I can to gym at all, let alone start training for a half marathon.
Pres. Week is busy. When we went in 2010, it coincided with Mardi Gras week, which supposedly makes it a lot busier than years when it doesn't because Louisiana and I think Mississippi have that week off, too. Truthfully, we hit rope drop and went back again later in the evening, just like we do during the summer and it wasn't that bad.
Last year, Mardi Gras was a different week, so it wasn't quite as crazy.
But, yes, I think you would definitely want your family with you!
Max looks like a good helper in the snow yesterday. As much as I hate driving in the snow and the clean up, I thought it was nice to get a little snow yesterday. It's always nice when it happens on the weekend so it doesn't disrupt too much. Now, if that could be it for the year that would be great.
Personally, I would have liked it if it had been a day earlier. Most of us might not admit it, but teachers LOVE snow days.
