PPO ADR or EMH for AK

My husband and I will be traveling middle of September. I had planned on going to AK during EMH to make the most of the time at that park but I was able to get a Tusker PPO ADR on a non EMH day. Which is the better choice? I keep reading to avoid the EMH parks and pick another day but we are early birds and would make it to the park by 8 to get the most of the hour.

Using EMH sounds like a great idea if you get there in time (or stay all night) to enjoy all of the EMH

It's the arriving after EMH when queues already built up that's a bad idea.

Even during Christmas, we've never had a problem with the morning EMH. In fact, we rely on them. We always do MK on Christmas Day. That morning EMH is the only way we're able to get on our favorite rides. We get there ~7:30am and go on Space Mountain, Buzz and sometimes get in Pirates once the park has opened.

It's a little different with AK because there's fewer rides, which means people will all go to the same place - BUT - I doubt it's enough to make you regret your decision.
