PPH or Fairfield?

Hello!

I currently have a two-night reservation at both PPH and Fairfield. With the 25% Disney promo, the price different wasn't too large. We're going to be doing one day at DL and not visiting DCA. We don't want to drive to the park, so we'll want to be within an easy walk from the park. There's no Magic Morning hours on our park day, so that's not a factor.

If you had to choose between PPH and Fairfield, which would you choose? Also, is Fairfield a hotel that has doors that open to the outside, or to the hallway?

PPH. Remember that this summer you are going to get two free fast passes per person per stay. You also get entry @ 9 am into DCA- and you can do Ariel's at that time. So if you want to do the two new rides, PPH is going to save you HOURS of time in the park, which makes it worth it.

Also with only one day, you might want to park hop (visiting DCA just prior to your mid day break.....since PPH is a few steps from the Griz Rapids GCH entrance).

Read the first page of my trip report below as an example of how one can tour the parks from the PPH in one day.

Other bennie is that you can walk thru DTD on your trek to & from the park.
