Powerball players playing the numbers from "Lost".

I so want to play the Lost numbers in Lotto just to see what happens

So do I but I'm scared what would happen to me if I won.

:earseek: Me too. I'd never fly again. :rotfl2: Then again, I would if Josh was on the plane. How I'd love to be stranded on an island with that man.

I wouldn't play the Lost numbers. Not because I'm afraid of what would happen, but because there's lots of people playing the same numbers and I'd rather not share my winnings ;)

 I played them last week

I figure I don't fly anyway....... lol

If you power played it, it's worth more, isn't it?

I don't even know what that means. I just went to a lottery site and it said it was worth $7.00. The machine picked all the numbers, if that matters.

For future reference, when you play the Powerball, if you pay an extra dollar/line played, you are Power Playing it. When they draw the #'s, they always draw a Power Play # which will be anywhere from 1-5. For example, if you have 1 number and the Power Ball #, you usually win about $4.00. If you Power Play it, and the Power Play # comes up as 3, you multiply your $4.00 winning 3x, therefore winning $12.00 instead of $4.00.

So, $21? instead of $7?

Okay, I checked. You had 2 numbers and the power ball #, which is worth $7.00. The power play # was 5 last night. If you had paid the extra $1.00 to power play it, you would've won $35.

Sadly, I hit absolutely nothing. Not even $3. $340 million is just scary money. My whole office went in on it. If I would have walked away with $13 million, I would have "managed." ;)

There was a recent story about a large number of winners in the lottery. Come to find out they all played numbers they got on the back of their fortune from their fortune cookie.

I thought the opposite about the LOST numbers.

Hundreds of people are playing those numbers. I would rather take my chances of hitting with unique numbers and having the pot to myself or only split among a small amount of others.

I talked my mom into using the Lost numbers, but then we've tried to cookie method of number picking so the show's numbers are like that to her
