Power outage at EPCOT

Saw this on the news section of the DIS. Anyone there when it happened?


Epcot loses power

Yesterday, Epcot had a brief power outage due to a tripped circuit breaker.

At 11:30am, the main entrance and Future World lost power. While they were back online within an hour, the process of restarting the attractions impacted by the power loss lasted until 2:00pm.

maybe its a coincidence I know places in Australia and google are going black for earth hour which was today..wonder if that has anything to do with it..i doubt it but very weird coincidence today

The going black thing in the United States was from 8-9 PM and this happened during the day. But now that you mentioned it, wouldn't it be great if Disney World participated in that? What a wonderful statement that would make. Logistically, it's impossible but just the thought.

So funny that you would say that. As we were exiting a building a CM joking around told us that he forgot to pay the bill. I teased him and told him that giving the electric company "raspberries" wasn't going to satisfy them or pay the bill. I know lame joke.
