I want some cake now too!! Our REAL anniversary is in 2 weeks......and I'm recreating our cake....chocolate with White Chocolate Mousse....i can't wait to eat ALL of it this time instead of just 1 little piece!!

and we did smash! I know...horrible and tacky right. It was actually a gift for my DH.....he wanted to smash at our original wedding and I had an absolute fit about it.....it caused major stress before the wedding. So for the 2nd go-round....I told him he could smash if he wanted to. He actually didn't go real crazy, which suprised me.

Love this it's almost want I want except our three initals at the top. Where did you get the crystals from for around the cake? I know disney provides something similar but didn't know if you got yours from disney. And if so, how much was it, if you don't mind me asking? Thanks!

Thanks!! Actually Disney started selling the cake after my wedding. (It was my one stipulation...awful I know! ) I worked with Sari from Toppers With Glitz for all my pieces. She now sells the bands on her site or you can get them from DFTW.

I think her 3 initial toppers start at $225. For our bands, 1 initial 5" topper, and serving set we paid a little more than $600 (in 2008).

I highly recommend contacting Sari and starting an open line of communication. She will gladly send you samples of stones, work wth your color palette, and will provide fantastic customer service. If you have any other questions send me a PM and I'll be more than happy to help!

Oh Good! Sari is great to work with....I'm glad you already are. I have no clue what DFTW is charging for the cake...(but feel free to let me know...I've been wondering for awhile now ) Smoke topaz and blue zircon with the clear crystal sounds beautiful! I'm sure it will be stunning!

It has taken me 2 days, but I have managed to get through the entire thread! I cannot wait until I can post my pictures on here - less than 5 months to go! Your pictures are all beautiful and have given me a ton of inspiration for my own wedding! I have my first meeting with my planner (Karen) tomorrow and I am so excited!!

Hello all! Pictures are beautiful!! I cannot yet post, and am not sure if I am allowed to suggest - but I would love to see some centrepiece pictures. Instead of starting a new thread for centrepieces, hopefully I can get some great ideas here. Thanks everyone!!

Not the best picture, but you can get a pretty clear view of our centerpieces here:

They were quite gorgous in person. There were also 3 candles at each table which aren't really visable, since my aunt taking the picture thought i'd want a picture of my parents and grandma - not of the centerpiece - silly lady
