Oh, you haven't heard this story - I kvetch about it around here often enough.... In fact, the baker who did my cake even found out about it on the DIS and emailed me an apology!

They were supposed to be hot pink/fuchsia and bright orange. They came out maroon and salmon

I'm not sure if our photographers purposely retouched our cake photos, but I do think the colors look way better in this pic than in real life....
