POTD Picture of the Day For Brides to Be

Trust me.... I am in the same boat.... except the bridesmaid is my own friend, and with some of the stuff she has pulled it is highly unlikely that we will be on speaking terms after the wedding.

But I am not going to let that bother me.

I have a bridesmaid that's a PITA, but she hasn't complained about the dress... it's DF's sister, so I have to deal.

Attendants Outfits:

My niece, who is too small tom be a Flower Girl but super special, will be wearing this:

My Flower Girl who is 3 will be wearing this:

My Ring Bearer who is 4 will be wearing this:

The fabric matches my DF's shirt that he will be wearing.

My Bridesmaids:

These were taken Pre Fitting....They are fit much better now. The Pink Sweater is for dinner, it gets chilly on the ship at night.

PrincessPirate, Princesskeyblade and Angela, I'm so sorry to hear about your bridesmaids! Especially Princesskeyblade! I'm glad you're not letting it bother you! My best friend stopped speaking to me after I met my DF because I was no longer spending 3 nights a week at the bar with her. It's not worth stressing about!!!

Cam.....We got them from http://www.lilywedding.com/ The were supposed to be strapless, but I asked them at add the straps so the girls could wear thier regular bras. The dresses are HIGH HIGH quaility and all fully lined. They are so nice. The people were easy to deal with, all through email and I had the dresses in 3 or 4 weeks. YOu have lilke 10009 messurments to take so they are all custom made. We fudged a bit on that...LOL Which is why the girls all needed to have the taken in...Bette rin then out though!

Thank you, sweetie! I remember when you found them but hadn't seen the finished product. They are GORGEOUS!! Hey, maybe one of your bridesmaids will want to sell their dress afterwards. LOL! Actually, they are so gorgeous I'd DEFINITELY wear that again! So, probably not, huh?

I just came across this, and realized we had the same dress!!!! I don't think I've seen anyone else on here who had it!

It looks BEAUTIFUL on you! I felll in love w/it, and then had doubts, and then on my wedding day LOVED it and got so many compliments!!!

They are called Stephanotis! They are very real!

I LOVE stephanotis -- they look like little stars to me. I would note that the center of the stephanotis doesn't look like that, though. It is the perfect spot for a tiny pearl or crystal. I'm not sure I've ever seen stephanotis in a bouquet with it's natural center showing.

I have a couple inspiration pics, and I haven't totally decided on colors/flowers etc. I do know that I'm really digging the lilac roses AND the idea of different flowers mixed into the bouquets.

Check it out Cam...this bouquet has stephanotis without a crystal or pearl! Of course, I think it looks better with a Mickey head...

I like the idea of throwing in orchids...even though we're not going with an "island" theme...because I had them in my bouquet in June.
