I'm letting my bridesmaids pick their own dresses in the same color/fabric - 3/4 of them have picked ones the like off the website so far. Two live out of state and one just gave birth last month, so they're going to be on their own for the most part when it comes to actually trying the dresses on.

Yeah! I can play again! My favors are turning out to be a time consuming fiasco (but I hope they will be lovely when finished) and I have no pics of them, and I have NO IDEA what to do with my hair. DF likes the idea of a smooth, elegant french twist, but I have layers that may need to grow out first (hopefully 3 months will be enough time for that!)

I also let my girls pick their own dresses, in the same color. They all ended up getting long, strapless dresses in Serene from David's Bridal:

I have NO IDEA what to do with my hair. DF likes the idea of a smooth, elegant french twist, but I have layers that may need to grow out first (hopefully 3 months will be enough time for that!)

Irisbud,you don't have to grow out your layers to get a french twist! I went to beauty school and was a hairstylist for a few years before I went back to school and changed careers... I've done many french twists on girls with layered hair It's a very neat, classic look!

These are my choices for BM dresses and my Jr BM. Originally I wanted Marine/Navy, but now I think I want pink. I have one BM who said she would wear anything but pink. Nice huh? She actually told me that right after we asked her to be a BM. We are going shopping on Nov 1, so we will see what happens, 5 out of 6 going. Should be interesting!!

Im noticing a lot of brides are having the same dresses...I cant blame them they are all so pretty!
We got the shot glasses at discountmugs.com they have a ton of different choices. Delivery was SUPER fast and you do it all online...they have a few disney pictures in stock or you can upload your own. I can't believe how many have the same style, LOL.

Yeah I don't really like her too much she's DF friend and we met thru her so I just bit my toungue on it. She also had a prob when I told her we were going to David's. She a spoiled brat so I didn't expected it from her. Just not going to let her get to me.

Trust me.... I am in the same boat.... except the bridesmaid is my own friend, and with some of the stuff she has pulled it is highly unlikely that we will be on speaking terms after the wedding.

But I am not going to let that bother me.
