One of the first and most exciting pictures I took at The Magic Kingdom in 1973 was an attempt to capture one of those beautiful mosaics that line the walkway through the Castle. With a Kodak Pocket 40 Instamatic camera, taking 1/2" slide film.

In 2007, with my new fancy Olympus C-740 Ultra-Zoom Digital Camera, I tried again!

Yesterday, I bought a new Canon SX 260HS.

Nice bright color in the second picture! A good camera is a must at WDW isn't it~

thanks Jud, I missed taking those wall shots last week when i was there, i figured there were many new shots in the new Fantasyland area,

I got my Christmas present early this year too - a Canon XSi!

Correction: Just realized I typed the wrong camera model as my present this year.....I actually got the Canon T4i (XSi is my old camera.)

Main reason was so I could do two 1080 vids at once... long wide shot and close up... My FZ35 only does 780 or whatever that smaller one is... and also noticed that the 230 does at least as good stills as the FZ, so that is probably on the wall now...

Off topic but....I rarely do videos so I skipped that feature on my last dSLR. Then I got my Canon G12 and it takes decent videos but the videos using my new T4i are amazing; might start taking more videos after all!
