POTC still taking on water?

Wondering if this is still just hit or miss?

We only rode it once when we were there in March, and it was bone dry for us. Dry seats, dry floor when we got in, while we rode, and when we got out. No idea if anyone else in our boat got wet or not.

Rode it twice in April with no water. This was much better then December when my husband got wet!

We were dry last week on the ride. We sat in the middle and were the only ones in the boat, though, so perhaps that made a difference.

Seems to be MUCH better. I rode last week, and the boat was dry - not even the floor was wet. Way better than a few months ago when there were inches of standing water in the bottom.

April. Boat full of water. Seats wet, tried to brush off. Most our boat mates were blessed.

Ask for the back seats to stay dry. The front seats seem to get wet from the splash after the drop.

I've ridden many times and haven't seen the taking on water but some of the cannon ball splashes are HUGE!

We got a nice little splash and it was a heavy one! I don't mind though.

Went on it twice in Feb. Everyone was dry, the seats nor the floor were wet when we entered the boat either! Didn't see any others wet.

Just got back. We rode it several times and not a drop. The cast members seem to be pretty mindful of not front loading the boats or weighing them down. We were just a party of 2 and got our own row each time.

We rode April 8. Seat and floor were both dry. We managed to stay dry until we got a good splash from the cannon fire, but other than that we had no problems. We were in the middle of the boat.

The boats still managed to get all backed up and bang into each other in a couple parts of the ride, which we've experienced many times before.

I am glad to hear those reports the last few times we went the boat had a lot of water in the bottom m, so we decided to skip it in April because I hate having wet shoes.
