Except when I was a kid, I didn't have to pay for all this myself

We tried for two but only got one. I'm just happy we got one.

I also agree about the edition sizes - especially the fact that a lot of the merchandise is going to be sold to the public right after the event, which is not usually the case.

I'm just wondering who bought the one of one RSP items. I couldn't afford any of them.

I was not happy to see that they had RSP items of edition size of "1" available. Those should have been in the auction and I will say so in my convention survey (they usually have them).

I was SOOO hoping for a Collector's Edition piece for this event, preferably a Jim Salvati or a John Alvin. They had a special Alvin for the Pirates event in Disneyland in March, and it would have been nice to do something for this event too. I hope they have some items available for sale that they could not get together in time for the RSP. We already know there will be a commission WDCC piece, so I'm hoping that will be a good one...a Jack Sparrow from the movie would be AWEsome!

Definitely can't wait for vacation to get here!

My credit card was charged with the RSP items this past week. Was definitely surprised to see that they charged shipping for each round of the RSP not for the total bill!! Definitely will be calling Event Services to ask about this, as I'm getting charged 3x for shipping and not against the total of all items...this was not mentioned in any of the paperwork or on the website. The website shipping information led you to believe the shipping would be based on the total amount of items ordered.

Am I the only one that assumed the mandatory shipping on the big fig would be complimentary as it was done at Disneys discretion? We are local and there is no way Im paying $50 to ship this thing 30 miles away. Monday we will be calling for another round of "throw back"

I got all 5 items on my RSP: the HK jail scene, the unframed cel, the event pin, the blue line sketch of MM, and the Jack Sparrow pin (for my sister's birthday 5/28).

Flitter, I didn't know you were going to the event! I will look for you!!!

Yes, Cyn and I will be there along with a couple of other friends. I keep trying to get in touch with you each time we are down but, I seem to keep missing you. You probably won't even recognize me anymore. I have gained over 20 lbs and my hair is really short and grey. (although I may be wearing my wig for the event).
I can hardly wait to get down there. Looking forward to seeing you.

You should be charged for the items, the tax and then shipping (if you elected that). The tax is probably the 6.5% of Orange County (it is 7% where I live - Seminole).

When I was completing my RSP, I stopped and added up the cost of the items I had wanted. I ended cutting off one item from my list as I did not want to spend that much. It was not something I did when thinking of what I wanted....good thing too, since the cat got sick a couple of weeks ago and that bill was $307.....

Flitter, I will be sure to look for you and the parkhoppers next week. I will be there Thursday & Friday. I will probably be in my red pirate shirt, and with 1000th happy haunt, her hubby, and maybe some others (ie athenna, who is also staying at OKW, right?)
