POTC - access query

Back in '94 at WDW I rode POTC and enjoyed it. We queued again during our '04 visit and got to the front only to discover there were now extra security measures before you get in a boat. It's hard to describe but the barriers were very much like the ones you get at supermarket/shop (the kind that beep if you still have a tag attached). I couldn't get my wheelchair through them and had to forfeit the ride.

Can anyone tell me if it's the same at DLP?

Don't worry, visitors in wheelchairs get access through the exit of the ride!
