Pot Roast at Liberty Tree Travern and Prime Time

I've never had the pot roast at LTT, but I can say that the pot roast at the 50's Prime Time is OUTSTANDING (JMHO).

We usually do LTT at lunch, and I can't remember if the lunch menu has the pot roast listed.

I'm interested in the answer too!

They didn't have pot roast at LTT when we went for dinner... I think it was flank steak... but it DEFINITELY wasn't pot roast... and NO, nothing can compare with the pot roast at 50's Primetime... it is out of this world!!!

On my Dec. trip I ate the pot roast at the LTT for lunch. On my Sept. trip I ate the pot roast at Prime Time. IMHO the pot roast at the LTT was better than at Prime time. This is how it reads on the menu at LTT.
New England Pot Roast... Our Tavern Keeper's Favorite - braised beef in a cabernet wine and mushroom sauce served with mashed potatoes and a garden vegetable $13.79
I believe it had small fried onions with it also.

The prime time reads as..
Old-Fashioned Pot Roast - slow-roasted until fork tender, mashed potatoes, carrots, celery and onions $13.99

These updated menus can be found at....

Both were good, but I would try it at LTT, but remember only the Primetime has the Dad's sundae.
:bounce:

BTW the pot roast at LTT is only on the lunch menu.
