Posting your picture on here? Inspired by another thread

I am just curious if you haven't posted your picture on here if it's b/c you are afraid someone might recognize you? I think that is why I never have. I'm always afraid that b/c I air my dirty laundry on here sometimes and vent about home life or work that someone would recongize me and it could cause problems-lol Just curious what you all think

I have my pic in my profile. I don't care if people know who I am or not. Sure, I say some goofy stuff on here sometimes, but anyone who knows me has probably heard my say much worse in real life

if i did i'de want one of the family, and i just don't post my kid's photos on the internet. too many sicko's that troll family sites-capture kid's photos and manipulate them ala photoshop. it's gotten to be enough of an issue that while cruiselines used to take tons of random photos of kids to sell to the parents-many are now only taking them upon parental request (they've had issues with people discovering someone walking out of the gift shop with 8 x 10's of their kids-people who did'nt know their kids, had no connection to their kids. pretty dang creepy-esp when they selectivly choose the ones in bathing suits which are easier to edit ).

I don't know how to post pics and DH won't do it for me. He has put pictures of our house, when we bought it, and of our new puppy. He refuses to put pictures of the kids.

I'm not sure if I ever have. I usually hate pictures of myself. Plus I'm always the one taking the pictures so I don't have any of myslef on my computer.

I've been using the same screen name for years so people would know it was me even without a picture.

Just remember, folks who will make fun of overweight people, will make fun of thin people, short people etc. So pay them no mind, because they don't matter! We are all beautiful in our own special way!

I have a few times on here. Once not too long ago, of both me and my husband.

I had to get over that fear when I was on Match.com. Thank goodness my husband doesn't have an aversion to it either, since it's where we met.

I think it should be a requirement. I love to put faces to names! I'm usually so off-the-mark, it's not even funny!
