Well, the one and only time I rode TOT, I was truly terrified!! But I will be trying it again IF my niece wants to ride it. Also, will be pursuaded to go on again with the RC peeps too as long as both Lindas are there to hold my hand!!

From the look of the couple of texts photos I've seen it looks like they are having a great day! Danimal has been having so much fun on the slide that Dani decided to extend the Cabana rental until 6 p.m.!

Mickey bars are the highlight of time in Disney!

I like doing nice things for my family and loved ones, but sometimes I feel taken advantage of. That's another story for another day.

Sounds like you are having an amazing time....I'm eating at KONA for the first time too, and those sticky wings/ dumplings look amazing! I'm planning on ordering the teriyaki strip too good to know you can sub a side, my kids are all for steak and mashed potatoes

The only parade I like in person is the Electrical Parade, Christmas night time parade or the one at MNSSHP! Hope that sunburn is much better today! Good day for the cabana.

Thanks for joining in! I love my iPad for travel. I got it last year and bring it down the shore and to Florida and it works out great. I also enjoy reading on it and the kids like watching movies on it.

I didn't get to update yesterday because we had one HECK of a day! We were up early and hit DHS for rope drop. Once again the crowds were insane and they opened before 9. This time they opened at 8:35!!!

First we ran to TSM since my mom missed it last time. On the way there I glanced over at the Great Movie Ride and the line was already extended way outside the theater.

After TSM we did The Voyage of the Little Mermaid. My mom cried hysterically through it because when my sister was ill they used to watch it all the time and my mom would sing her the songs. It brought back bittersweet memories for her.

We planned to do the Disney Junior show for Lily after that but she fell asleep during it so instead we headed to The Great Movie Ride because it is mom's favorite. This was the longest line I've ever seen for this attraction. Seriously, I've been in the Studios in Easter day and it was never like this.

I don't have a pic of the line but here's us walking through the theater.

After that it was time for our lunch reservation at SciFi. Here's where things got ugly. I'm huge on etiquette, the rest of my family not so much. So as thy serve our food my aunt answers her phone...right at the table...and has a full on convo. I get angry because I already said something to her about this the other night at 'Ohana. We have words and I get very annoyed. I don't think I am asking too much in asking for her to excuse herself to answer her phone but apparently it is so whatever.

After lunch I cooled off and we went to Star Tours. Mom watched the princess while the rest of us went on. I was hoping to be the rebel spy, but my cousin was. One day it will be me!!! Danimal built himself a droid in the exit shop which was pretty darn cool! Outside the ride I got photos of Daniel and my cousin Nicole in the little movie thing (I've never seen the movies so I have no idea what it is!).

After that we hit the Muppets! We looked around the store after and then my cousin and Daniel got henna tattoos. Daniel wiped his off within 15 minutes.

By this point it was after 2 and I really wanted to get back. It was so hot and Lily looked drained. Mom wanted to do the Backlot Tour and since it was closed last year I gave in. Mistake! We just missed the cutoff for the current tour as we pulled up so we had to wait ten minutes for the next one which doesn't sound bad but in that heat it was awful! The after we got on we were told the light system they use to control the vehicles was out of order so we ended up being in the ride FOREVERRRR because we had to constantly wait to be told when the vehicle could proceed. Not a good time. They also told us we weren't allowed to dance on the ride.

After this everyone was overheated and overtired. Misery. We decided to get a cold drink before we headed to the exit.

We finally got to the bus stop around 4. When we got back to the Poly we hit Capt'n Cooks for some Mickey Bars! What a great great after such a long and hot day.

Dani, you are AMAZING!!! The way you stay calm and collected in such heat...and the wonderful way you care for not only Daniel and Lily, but the thoughtfulness you show your mom and others. Just want to send a great big HUG!!

My heart goes out to your mom...when I come out of The Muppets and Rainbow Connection is playing, I get very misty-eyed every time.

If you have time and can, do post the photo of Daniel you texted to me...he looks gorgeous and so happy...and Lily is as adorable as ever!

After our treat we went back to our room and freshened up. Then we headed to the lounge and it was crowded as all get out! We still got a table so all good. Last night they hadvKona wings with a sesame teriyaki sauce, pork dumplings with a sweet chili sauce, and the standard veggies and cheeses. I picked at a few things and then excused myself to the room. I needed a break from everyone. When I was in the bathroom housekeeping knocked on our door for turn down service. I quickly washed my hands and answered the door. Daniel knew not to let anyone in if they don't have a key to let themselves in. We had the sweetest lady named Esy. I will be speaking to the manager about her. She was such a doll. We chatted for a good ten minutes about where she was from and her family. When I tipped her she gave me a huge hug. I told her I hope to see her next week because she's off the next few days.

The rest of the crew eventually came up...and my mom and aunt fell asleep. I didn't want to waste the night so I took the kids and my cousin and headed out. We were headed to MK, but there were ominous clouds and lots of lightning. We decided to ride the monorail and see what happened. We made the loop and I decided that if it should rain the MK is full of places to find shelter. We made the right choice! We had a BLAST!

When we got in the park the MSEP jus started. We got held up at the entrance, along with about a thousand other people. We followed the parade up Main Street and headed to Tomorrowland. We hit Monsters Inc Laugh Floor first. It was the funniest one I've ever been to. I laughed so hard I was crying. This poor lady was so mortified they put her on screen and she kept putting her head between her legs and she started crying from laughing so hard. They aske Cher where she kept going and the whole audience was in stitches. It was a great time. We spoke to her on the way out and she said she was so embarrassed. I told her she was fine and not to worry.

We got our stroller and then went to Buzz Lightyear. Danimal and Nicole rode together and Lily and I rode together. It was great! Then we headed to the bathroom real quick.

We were heading to Fantasyland when we passed a popcorn stand. We decided to stop and get some. They were fresh out so we waited and got some freshly popped! It was hot and salty and delicious!

We did the teacups. Another mistake! I got SO sick. I had to stop and collect myself after the ride. Everyone else had a great time.

When I was able to walk again we went over to Pooh's Honey Pots. Lily had a ball! We sat in the front so she could see. She was pointing and smiling and going crazy over the characters. It was adorable!

By now it was like 10 minutes before closing. We got into the last showing of Mickey's Philharmagic. Lily loved that too! So did Danimal. Everyone had a great time last night. When Philharmagic got out Fantasyland was desolate. We took a few photos and then walked through the castle.

As soon as we got to the hub I saw the lights. Foiled by the parade again! I was able to navigate us down the street though. Mom text me and asked for a bag of malt balls so I stopped in the Confectionary and then we ran for the monorail. The line for the express side was all the way down the ramp! The line for the water launch was pretty long too. We noticed the line for the resort side was nonexistent. We hauled butt up that exhausting ramp and got on the monorail that was loading as we got there. I was amazed! We made it back by 11:40. Not bad at all. We decided to stop for a treat.

What's better than a late night dole whip?! As we enjoyed our last spoons we noticed a HUGE dragonfly above us and hightailed it out of there!

It was a great night, but a long day. We all passed out around midnight.

Where are you finding cabanas to rent?

The Polynesian and Grand Floridian both have cabanas at the pools that they rent to their guests.

This morning we had breakfast at 'Ohana. It was great! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed their meal. After that I ran to the pool to wait for our cabana. I prefer the one on the right so I wanted to make sure I got there to pick that one. It ended up that the other cabana wasn't rented so I had no problem getting our preferred spot. After I settled up the rental I went upstairs to get changed. My mom and aunt took Danimal down and I was going to meet them....except Lily wanted to nap. I laid down with her and we didn't get up until after 1. I got us into our swimsuits and we headed down. We were able to extend our rental until so we could enjoy it a little longer. Lil had a blast in the pool. Danimal was up and down the slide the entire day. Around 4 we got food from Capt'n Cooks to share. Everyone just got dressed and we are heading to DTD. I'm planning on WPE for dinner. I can't wait for the delicious mac n cheese!

He LOVES Star Tours. It's always been a favorite of his. He likes it even better now that they redid it.

It is so crowded. I can't even believe it.

Thank you for posting the pictures you texted - I love that one of Danimal sitting in the chair with, is that a cell phone? He looks so happy and relaxed. Uh, but I didn't get the text of the adult beverage!

Great updates! Your trip sounds wonderful even with a bump or two. Good job keeping your cool in that heat. Traveling with extended family can at times be frustrating . The pics are terrific, Lily and Danimal look so happy!
