There was a post on DVC that in order to private message I needed to post 10x to access it

You have over that number. "Messages" is the same as "post".

I did find that out shortly after I posted... it's been very close if not over 24 hours now, and I am still unable to "start a conversation"... hoping it is enable very soon!!
