A co-worker got a postcard for $129 per night at AKL. She wants her son and DIL to use the discount code, but the postcard is in her name. Can they use the code or can only she use it?

Thanks in advance for any help.:)

Does it have a series of letters/numbers highlighted above her name/address? If so, the postcard can only be used by her. I was told to bring mine as I'll have to show it at check in.

I received (or my DH did) a postcard like this yesterday advertising the $129 for AKL between 4/21 - 6/22. It did have have a yellow-highlighted pin number which I had to give them along with the discount code. The discount was available on any of the Deluxe Resorts (not just AKL) but only on the Deluxes. BTW it was also available for a savannah view room at AKL at the rate of $189. This turned out to be a better discount than the other one I was using so changed my ressies (already had ressies in my name for early May). My husband is not able to go on this trip but they told me it wouldn't be a problem since the address was the same as what the PIN number brought up. They also told me that I would NOT have to present the card at check-in (was told this both times that I called) but I will have it with me just in case.

Thank you for your replies. This postcard does have a yellow box with a code above the name on it, also. However, the address is not her home address, it's her work address. So how they would verify that her address is the same as what corresponds with the pin# addy is beyond me.

Anyway, I let her know that they can't use it and she understands that.

Thanks again for all your help!;)

Jbead,

I got the rate for $189 a nite for AKL from an email with a code. I was wondering if you have to have your reservation paid for in full within 14 days of making the ressie. That is what I was told, and I could have sworn I was speaking to a CRO!

I changed over my existing two reservations (once I believe that I was talking to CRO and the other was WDTC) on which I had already made the required one night deposit and neither time was told anything about having to pay the balance in full in advance. Haven't received my new confirmation forms yet though of course (showing the rate changes) so I guess I can't be sure of anything until I have it in writing (LOL!)
