Post Your Wedding Cake

Here was ours

how much did you pay for this, if you don't mind me asking

DF wants our cake to have the same shape as the China pavillion (where we'll be married), and to have the layers each have different asian designs like Indian paislies on one layer and the character for Kong (river, my DF surname) on another layer, and for the top layer to have the traditional 'double happiness' symbol:

(and here's the China Pavillion:

)

But, if we can't get the shape of the China pavillion to work out, we have this alternative:

Lavender_Blue that is such an unique and wonderful idea! I bet that'd be so cool! Be sure to take a picture of the finish product! :yay:

Hi everyone, I'm having an escape wedding and i wanted to upgrade my cake to one with Ariel and Eric on the top, with the words they lived happily ever after iced all around it. Dose any one have an idea of price and if you can even get and Ariel cake topper? Thanks x

Hi guys, I was wondering if there was a way to downgrade the cake?

As there will only be 2 of us, we won't want that much cake, is there a way to change it to something else from Disney Floral (is it them who do the cake).

E.g. I was wanting petals, but didn't want to pay more - is it possible to have a 1 tier cake and the petals for the same price?

Thanks!

Oh man! I thought I knew the exact cake I wanted! Now I've seen so many gorgous ones, I'm back to square one!

I'm having 24 guest, would a two teir one be the right size for me? I really like the Mickey wave cake, how much would a two teir version be, and how much is the castle topper?

Unfortunately you can not change parts of the package for an escape. You can add things to the package, but not take away. If you did remove an item you would not be 'reimbursed' for it since the elements are not priced out separately.

The Happily Ever After cake is $12.50 per person, with a minimum of 50 people. So if they're still giving a $200 credit for the basic Escape cake when you upgrade to another cake, it would be an additional $425. However, they might be able to just write "Happily Ever After" around the tiers of a standard Escape cake - check with your planner and see what they say! :thumbsup2

Yes, a two-tiered cake is the right size for you. However, the minimum size on a Mickey Wave cake is 50 people, which = three tiers. The price is $11.50 per person, so that's $575. The white chocolate castle cake topper is $100.

Has anyone looked at pinkcakebox.com? They have some wonderful ideas.

I loooove pinkcakebox.com. I'm keeping the site in my back pocket for any future vow renewals...

I love all of these cakes!! We're thinking about a vow renewal in two years and just getting into all of this planning stuff. It looks wonderful!

Thanks everyone for sharing! :goodvibes

We had the smaller Mickey Wave.
This picture is from my moms camera...there was a light in the topper..but moms camera didn't capture it!

We had the Bridge to Happiness. Joe proposed at Cinderella's Castle, so I wanted a castle cake, with a Minnie and Mickey topper, to represent us. This cake was perfect! We received the Lenox topper as a gift, and gave it to Disney to add to the cake.
