What park is everyone going to on Thanksgiving Day? Where is dinner? Post your plans here:

We are headed to Hollywood Studios for rope drop. Hope to get all the big rides in the first few hours. Early lunch at Hollywood and Vine. Back to resort for naps. Dinner at Sci Fi and Osborne Lights.

We are also doing DHS at RD. We are having lunch at sci-fi, and evening is open. We are doing fantasmic earlier in the week and will catch o-lights then. We may stay at the studios, hop somewhere else for fireworks, or hit DTD.

We have Fantasmic! package ressies at MM for dinner. The rest depends on how we are feeling and the weather as it is our last night at Disney. On our last trip, we did MK EMH, rode our favorites one last time and left the park by 10 a.m. We rented the sea racers and spent the day doing things around the resort.

We're going to Epcot with my husband's parents. Having lunch at Les Chefs and dinner at Via Napoli (non-traditional Thanksgiving food for our first time).

My plan for Thanksgiving day is packing to fly down three days later. :goodvibes

Driving down to Disney!!! We're going to leave around noon and drive all the way to St. Augustine (about 11 hours). We'll spend the night in a hotel and drive the remaining hour or so the next day. We'll arrive rested and ready for an awesome vacation!

I CAN'T WAIT!!!

We will be arriving the day before and staying in a vacation home. The tentative plan is to do AK. I'll send some of the extended family in for RD while I put the turkey in. We'll all reconvene at the house around noon for an early turkey dinner, then the rest of us will go in and likely stay until closing.

We are avoiding the parks on Thanksgiving Day. That's the day we'll be moving from on-property to off-property. We have Thanksgiving reservations on-property, so we'll probably check out, then eat, then go relax. :goodvibes

We are staying at Wilderness Lodge Villas. We plan to sleep in and have lunch reservations at Kona. The afternoon will be spent watching football and maybe time for a bike ride to Fort Wilderness or even a swim. Plans are to see Osborne Lights that evening.

Going to Blizzard Beach, dinner at 50's Prime Time (naturally, we are going to "Mom's" on Thanksgiving!), then off to Osbourne Lights to welcome in the Christmas holiday!

Early Breakfast at Cape May, then to AK. Early Dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe, then to MGM.

It seems like a lot of people on this thread are planning to go to DHS in the evening on T-giving.

I know that MK is usually crowded on this day - do you all think that DHS will be the next-most crowded park that day?

We'll be at Universal because we're moving there on Wednesday evening from the CR.

I haven't decided what park we will go to but we have a late lunch booked at WCC.:cool1:

We will be staying at VWL. Our plan is to spend the day at the resort and then head over to Fort Wilderness to check out the RV decorations. Dinner will be at Trails End Buffet. We try to avoid the parks on Thanksgiving and just relax:thumbsup2

My plan was to also be at DHS. You people are making me nervous, it's probably going to be crazy crowded! We are spending the first half of week at SSR, but moving Wed. to The Swan. Will walk to the park and have dinner resevations at Yacht club. Then back for Osbourne lights!

We will be at SSR. Probably go to Wolfgang Puck Express for breakfast. Swim and watch some football. Or possibly do the Spa. Then cocktails and a fantastic dinner at The Turf Club. :goodvibes

I think MK will be most crowded, followed by EPCOT. The reason we are seeing more people here saying we are going to DHS is because we are the ones who have obtherd to read up, find this out, and choose to be elsewhere. We make up a small fraction of Disney gusets. Most will "have" to be at MK or EPCOT for Thanksgiving. MK becuase it is MK, and EPCOT for the dining.

Sadly, my DD and I will be leaving to fly home that day. The positive side is that we get to join my family for Thanksgiving dinner, but it is always sad to leave Disney!

Our plane leaves at 2:00 and from the things I have read, we need to allow about 2 hours to get back to the airport, so if you had one thing to do on your last morning there, what would you do?
