Purchasing Magicband+

I ordered one in January and it arrived two days later. But, same thing, I'm in the L.A. metro, so it might not have had to travel very far.

Btw - I'm at the parks basically weekly - I can post if something changes in the next few weeks. They're still putting new ones on DisneyStore (they just debuted a Zootopia one) - I'm totally baffled as to why they can't just send small batches of them out to DLR, even if they're only sold in a couple of places. I'm hoping there's just some weird supply issue.

That would be great! If it looks like a bigger selection becomes available again, I'd rather have my kids shop in person. But I live in the DFW area, so shipping will probably be similar times as Denver and I feel comfortable waiting a month. Our Disney dates are late May.

It’s silly to me that they have yet to offer a smartwatch version of this functionality. Why can’t we have MB functionality at DL with an Apple Watch?

You can at WDW, though I don't think it works for your resort room, but everything else does. A Phone can work for all of it too. I'm surprised it doesn't at DLR.

Just to update this thread:

At the moment, the resort is mostly out of MagicBands. Five & Dime put out a pile of the Scarlet Witch band last week - they added a handful of the premium Jasmine & Jafar band in the last few days. (Weirdly enough, that one is not on DS.) I looked at all of the normal locations this afternoon, and that was the only store that had any.

But I'm hoping that means we'll eventually see more of them coming back. The one small MB rack at World of Disney was empty this afternoon, but it felt notable that they hadn't removed the signage (or put pins there instead).

If so, they were selling it at Company D last month. If I recall correctly, they were also selling Pride and First Visit MB at Company D.

I'm thinking more and more that it is a supply chain issue.

Yep - that's the one. They had four or five of them on a small shelf above the rack of Scarlet Witch's.
