Well I had fun once again doing the coupon thing. I'm not a big coupon shopper. Yet lately I've been trying. The thing is that it seems that most of the things I buy tend not to have coupons in the Sunday paper, I also don't plan out my shopping trips, and I don't like hunting down coupons. But today was fun....but the ever growing line of people behind me as some of my coupons didn't go through right didn't think it was fun that's for sure.
So as I said I've been clipping a few Sunday paper coupons here and there. Then I also printed from afullcup, coupons.com, and target.com. As for the coupons I was having trouble with - believe it or not they were the ones straight from the target website. They didn't have the NV granola bars exactly the kind my hubbs wanted so I had to get creative...probably didn't do near as well as I could have had I just been able to buy lots of exactly the 10 count boxes of the flavor he likes. I may try reprinting if I'm going past the other target and trying again.
What I bought -
Toaster Struddels - 2 boxes at 1.59 each, 2 $.75 TGT coupons, $1 off 2 MFG coupon - final price = $.68, or $.34 each
Toaster Strudels - 2 boxes at 1.75 each, 2 $.75 TGT coupons, $1 off 2 MFG coupon - final price = $1 or $.50 each

Nature Valley Granola Bars - 2 12 ct boxes at $2 each, 2 $1 TGT coupons, 1 $.75 off 2 coupon, final price = $1.25 or $.63 each
Nature Valley Granola Bars - 5 4ct boxes at $.99 each,5 $.75 TGT Coupons - final price $1.20 or $.24 ea
Starkist Tuna - 3 cans at $.59 ea, 3 $.50 TGT coupons, Final price = $.27 or $.09 ea
Starkist Tuna lunch kit - 2 pks at 1.34 ea, 2 $.50 TGT coupons, final price = $1.68 or $.84 ea
Del Monte (not good deal) Fruit Cups - $1.79 ea, 2 $.50 TGT coupons, final price 2.58 or 1.29 ea
Total price before 28 Coupons = 36.11
Total after 28 coupons = 12.41
Total savings = 23.70
But you can't forget the $5 off 50 I also had so had to do some other shopping...no glaring deals but....
saved $1.40 on 2 bags of Cat litter
Toilet Tissue was on sale for $6 and I had a $.25 coupon
Lysol wipes were on sale for $2, but that was basically the same as the big can but I like being able to distribute them in the house so that was nice.
Note card holders were clearanced saved $.62
All was still $3.99 (often $4.29 or higher)
also had to get a 20 oz dr pepper and some ice packs those were the only 2 items I got that weren't atleast marked down a bit.
So add all that up and I did pretty good I think...Came in totalled at $48.75, with around a total of $30 in savings.
