WOW! Awesome pics! I have never seen those Mickey ravioli before. They are adorable!

I just love coming back to this thread :) I wish I could make my trip longer just so we could go to more restaurants LOL

Between reading this thread and watching Food Channels DIsney Unwrapped over and over again I can't wait. 11 more days till I eat my way through Disney.

I usually start a walking plan 2 mths before going to disney - decided to started this week instead, after looking at all the food pictures last week, I know I'll be filling my face once we get to disney - I log on everyday to see if anymore disney meals have been added. I love fried chicken and desserts so looking at all these pictures is a pleasure for me.

I'm not keen on steak and Roasted prime rib of beef, but its so nice to see a good variety of foods - My friends think we live on Mcdonalds in Orlando, so its nice to show them american's can cook food other than big mac's and fries.

Thank you to everyone who has added their pictures so far, I'll try to add mine when we get back in September :wave2:

Thai Noodle Bowl with coconut-crusted tofu, edamame, snap peas, bok choy and shiitake mushrooms in a red curry broth:

I presume you mean "pak choy", or do you guys across the pond have a different name for it?
But WOW, what fantastic photos you posted. How did you ever have time to eat it all, what with taking so much time to get it all on film?!!!

Carl.

oogieboogie...a question for ya about Shula's...it's a comparison thing. We've tried the Yachtsman and Le Cellier for steak, but everyone keeps telling me that Shula's can't be beat. From the look of those photos, that's a steak my daddy would love! It looks like the ones he raised me on and in turn DS has been raised on so I'm trying to figure out if it's really worth the trip to the Dolphin and wearing the "business casual dress" as listed for there. Afterall, it's vacation...we did the dress up thing on the cruise last Thanksgiving, but not sure if we want to bring it with us for just one meal. So, tell me what ya can about Shula's...seasonings on the steaks? Quality? Quantity? Whatever you can share would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

dynamite100: pak choy = bok choy or chinese cabbage as some call it here too.

my family calls me the food nazi! :rotfl: No one is allowed to eat their food until I've taking a pic of it first. :teeth:

momsgoofy: my BIL works for Mortons and he even agrees that Shula's is competition for him. I have to say though, I was hesitant at going because of the whole business casual dress code, but DH called them up and they said, no problem... they understand that since it was Florida and they were in a resort that some people might not carry business casual clothing. DH wore a polo shirt, shorts and sandals, and I just wore a sleeveless blouse, khaki skort, and leather flip flops (girly ones, not sporty kind). I say some people with t-shirts and shorts on and some people had their kids with them too.

As far as the food goes, the steak is very delicious and tender. They definitely didn't put any weird seasonings on it, probably just salt and pepper. We both asked for medium rare and when the steaks were brought out, the server asked us to cut into it to make sure it was the right color we wanted. The steaks were tender and didn't need any additional salt/pepper or any kind of steak sauce. It was easy to cut into and wasn't loaded with fat. I've had Le Cellier's steaks and this was a grade above it. I haven't tried Yachtsman yet, but I think Shula's was a better value for the price. I wouldn't mind going back to Shula's again.
