Thanks! Yes she enjoyed it, at the time. ;) We went to an Illuminations Dessert party on the French island shortly after that where she ate a little too much. Unfortunately, it all came back up about 2 in the morning! :crazy2:

Thanks to all of you who continue to post and make this thread great!

In my opinion, this is the best thread in all of DIS.

Before you could only view the menus on the Debsite which is excellent in itself. Deb's does a great job and I couldn't maintain my budget without Deb's information. But now I can come to DIS check out the pictures and put prices with pictures.

I can't wait to make my upcoming trip PS arrangement based on all the wonderful pictures on this thread. So many many pictures ...so many restaurants....and only 10 days....what is a girl to do!

Again, thanks for keeping this thread alive and keep posting!

Ooogie boogie can I take a trip with you....you know how to eat! Forget the diet ....I can make up for it after a trip. Happy eating to all!

Wonder if this thread could be a sub-board, and then have a thread per restaurant to list pictures by restaurants?

I agree... this is a great thread. I'm a visual person so reading the menu on allearsnet piques my interest but seeing the pictures really helps me. Presentation is a big factor for me.

lsteadman, sure... come with us. DH and I are WDW food lovers. We dream about the food, and we make our plans based on what we'd like to eat. It's was getting tough trying to fit in the old favorites and new places we'd like to try.

I'm going to have fun this September, cause not only will we have a day for Food & Wine, MNSSHP, but we'll also be on the free dining plan! Oh... happy, happy, joy, joy!
We're so excited we're practically giddy just thinking about all that food! Trust me, I'll be taking plenty of pictures!! :teeth:

I was thinking the same thing! I was going to try to start one myself, but couldn't figure out how to get it started.

I love your idea! Maybe have all the menu items with their respective "portraits"!

Here is a picture of the Ice Cream Sandwich at the Magic Kingdom's Main Street Bakery, it was awesome and the cookie was still warm!

The menu on allearsnet says that the french menu at dinner comes with onion soup and doesn't mention salad. Has that changed?

I want to try Chefs de France on our Christmas trip and DH is all for it, but not sure if I can convince DS...he's pretty good about trying new food, but all the French names on the menu don't appeal to him, so thanks for the photos...I can show him that it's real food, not icky!

okay...I'm suffiently tortured. I had McD's for lunch and skipped dinner, after seeing all the pics I'm so hungry. Everyone is still up...maybe we could go out it's only around 11:30 pm.

I can't wait for vacation!

Boma... this was sent to our table by the Chef (don't know why, really :confused3 ) that is a chocolate elephant, tuxedo strawberries and that AKL 'Sign' is all chocolate too - including the easel.
