Javaj- is the chocolate fondue served family style.....can the server bring more to you if you ask? If so, I'M IN TROUBLE!! :teeth:

I asked the server about extra servings since I had read on these board that the new menu was still all-you-can-eat but he said that it was now pre-plated and no, we couldn't ask for more. We had 6 people (4 adults and 2 children) and we were brought 2 of the fondue plates.

Wow, all these pics are awesome. Can't wait to take some of my own.

Javaj,

Did you special order the Cinderella slipper dessert or was it on the buffet at 1900 park faire?

Thanks :sunny:

Oopps... sorry for the mis-info on the price of the slipper. I had a dessert somewhere that was 8 though! Maybe at some point I'll look back over the receipts (but I don't think I have the individual prices for all items on there because with the dining plan it makes them all $0.00.

Oh, and I agree, the chocolate cake at CRT is wonderful! and it seemed like it was enough for 3 or 4... (it is 2 big slices).

My DH and I shared this and it was huge!!! My advice for everyone that chocolate cake is for TWO people!!! My daughter had the kids' sunday with the chocolate crown--so cute!! I will get my pics up soon!!

First I must say a huge thank you to Nora94, who sent me the world's easiest directions for posting these photos. :grouphug: Nora, you are awesome!! :cheer2:

Here goes....

Liberty Tree Tavern salad with strawberry vinagrette dressing

Turkey, Ham, Flank Steak, Stuffing and Mashed Potatoes

Green Beans

That Stouffers Mac & Cheese...and the rolls (hosted by DS)

This was our first time here for the Character dinner, which we thought was good...nothing over the top, but tasty enough. Personally, I could have eaten the salad, green beans, and rolls and left the rest...they were just what tasted the best to me at that moment.

Nora94...thanks again! You've given me a bit of Disney magic now that I can share photos with ya'll. :grouphug:

Well, now that I've figured this out...thanks again Nora94...

Here is a shot of DS's birthday dessert from Le Cellier. Our server, Andi (not a guy), was so good about this...she even gave DS an "Unbirthday" card signed by herself and some other CMs. The chocolate mousse was the same used in the kids chocolate moose, which DH and I shared. The mousse is down right yummy!! I did take a photo, but since it's already been posted on the thread before I opted to not repeat.

We loved this place! Okay, the food was good...better than average, but not a 4 diamond place like Jiko, but WCC was such a hoot!

For starters, DH and I shared the Gold Rush Nachos...pretty good, but wish the toppings had been distributed more evenly over the chips...always one of my complaints.

DH had the Jeffro's Glazed Pork Chops (with Yukon gold roasted potatoes and green beans)

DS had the Lazy Suzan's steak (with Yukon gold mashed potatoes and corn)

I had the Doc Willis' Roasted Chicken (with cinnamon apples and Yukon gold mashed potatoes)

DS's 3rd Sprite of the evening...our server, who told us his name was Raging Bull and can't for the life of me remember his real name, made a special straw for DS since he was a "no account lazy teenager now"...DS loved it!

For DS, who was celebrating his 13th birthday, Raging Bull and the gang brought out a mini chocolate bundt cake with whipped cream and sprinkles for DS. Raging Bull told him to not touch it till they were all done singing for him...as they sang the last couple of words each one grabbed a spoon and scooped up a fourth of the cake and gobbled it down. One of the other CMs (not Raging Bull) put a dollop of whipped cream on DS's nose, who was laughing his teenage behind off at the shenanigans. Then they gave him another identical mini cake.

It seems we always end up eating here, both for the food and the fun. This was our first trip for lunch though.

DH opted for the Chicken Pot Pie, which he said was quite good.

I had the Stacked Sandwich, with both ham and turkey, and Lays Kettle chips and a pickle on the side. This was HUGE! I couldn't eat it all so started picking and choosing...choosing to leave the tomato and leaf lettuce, which dear cousin Brenda made me take "just one more bite" of the salad that Mom took such time making for me...complete with the airplane noises...

before she'd let DH and I have our absolute favorite dessert at 50's Prime Time....Smores!

These are the first pics I've since of the activities at WC. Thanks! The 13th birthday is such a turning point for kids. We gave our son a billards party on his 13th birthday. The kids loved it. :goodvibes

DH ordered it for me a couple of days before, we paid for it with our meal so the DDE discount was taken off. BTW, it was gluten free so DH could also eat it :)

This is a great thread, we're heading back to WDW in Sept and have booked the dining plan, so these are giving us lots of ideas for where to eat - keep the pics coming!

I KNOW I'll have to to diet when I get back until at least Christmas!! (Check - Easter!!)
