Did you eat either the Filet or Grouper???

We are dining here on our next trip and I'm trying to decide between the 2. I'm leaning towards the Grouper just because I'll probably eat alot of red meat at other restuarants.

Did the person in your party enjoy this dish??

Thanks a bunch!

We had both of these on June 3rd.

The grouper is crispy and flakey all in one. The sauce is to die for. I had to control myself from using the rolls to "mop up the sauce", so I could save room for dessert.

We felt that the Thia Noodle bowl was too spicey (noodles and sauce) for our taste, but thats just our opinion. On the other hand, the chicken with it was bland. The chicken was totally over powered by the noodles and sauce.

I,too, had the grouper on my last trip to HBD. I thought it was wonderful! I also had an appetizer there that was a portabello ravioli that was quite good.

Our server was awesome at whispering canyon for dinner. We still got a lot of interaction even though we had no small children along. It was a memorable experience and this is our favorite photo from the entire trip!

WHAT NO KETCHUP!?!?!?

I, personally, ate the Filet of Beef. It was WONDERFUL! It was tender and cooked just right. My daughter ordered the grouper. She enjoyed it but I don't think she will order it again. Actually, I was surprised that she ordered the fish because she usually doesn't like it that well. My husband tried it and he loved it.

Thanks YCFAN & Mister Disney on your review of the Grouper!!

I think I will go with that dish instead of the Filet. Like I said, I'll be eating alot of beef during our trip so this should be a nice break.

I'll add another thumbs up on the grouper at the Brown Derby. I had it on our trip last November and it was melt in your mouth good. :cloud9:

we were able to get any dessert on the menu (or shown at the front of the resturant) and the dining plan. So, I had a few dessert samplers, chocolate fondue, etc. all on the dining plan.
